Want to paint letters yourself and get an introduction to sign painting? During this workshop we focus on the Casual lettering style, with a strong emphasis on developing a feel for the brush and the paint.

 You’ll work with long-haired lettering brushes and 1 Shot paint, learning how pressure, speed and direction work together to create naturally flowing letterforms. Through hands-on practice, you’ll discover how letters really take shape — not just by following rules, but through feel and repetition.

At the end of the day, you’ll create a final piece to take home.

Omschrijving

Wil je zelf letters schilderen en kennismaken met signpainting? In deze workshop focussen we op de Casual lettering stijl, met veel aandacht voor het aanvoelen van de kwast en de verf.

Je werkt met langharige letterpenselen en 1 Shot verf en leert hoe druk, snelheid en richting samenkomen in vloeiende lettervormen. Door veel te oefenen ontdek je hoe letters ècht ontstaan — deels vanuit een aantal basisregels maar vooral vanuit gevoel en herhaling.

Aan het eind van de dag maak je een eindwerk om mee naar huis te nemen.
